We had a wonderful day at our Operation Courage 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run on October 16, 2021 at Kit Carson Park in San Diego County, California. Congratulations to all our participants, whether you were participating in person or virtually nationwide!

We are hosting our Annual Operation Courage 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run on Sat. October 16, 2021. All participants will receive a race t-shirt and virtual swag bag! For those who cannot make it in-person, we are also hosting a Virtual 5K. Onsite event activities include on-site raffle drawing, outside vendors with food and services, OCIB care package note writing, donation drop-off. Virtual activities include our online silent auction! Everyone is encouraged to check out our online auction and enjoy our onsite day-of race raffle drawings.
This event and all participants must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local COVID-19 orders, regulations, and guidance. Please be mindful of the health and safety of our guests. Social distancing will be encouraged at the race and hand sanitizer will be available.
LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE A T-SHIRT ON RACE DAY will be October 10th. Registrations thereafter may need to pick up their shirt the week following the race.

Operation Courage is Beautiful’s mission is to bring a little joy and femininity to our active duty, deployed US servicewomen through care packages geared for women. Since our founding we have shipped over 40 tons of products to our deployed service members. We are a 501(c)3 tax-exempt, non profit organization in which donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. 94% of our funds go directly toward the packaging and shipping costs of our care packages.

After Race Activities Ongoing
ARRIVE AT THE RACE
On the day of the event, we recommend you arrive at Kit Carson Park by 8am and the registration booth at El Arroyo Picnic Area between 8:15am to 8:40am. You will receive your t-shirt and bib. Pin your bib to the front of your shirt over your abdomen where it is highly visible. Please also use the restroom facilities before the race starts at 9am. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for our post-race raffle drawing. Need not be present to win.
DURING THE RACE
There will be 3 water stations along the race path and course guides.
This is a sport stroller friendly event.

KIDS FUN RUN
Our Kids Fun Run will start shortly after the 5K finishes.
This will be no earlier than 10:30am (CORRECTED).
Meet near the registration booth.
Parents/Guardians, please stay to help guide/supervise children.

AFTER THE RACES
