Please join us as a donor to our 2019 Operation Courage 5K. It’s a terrific way to support the military community, our local community, and be a part of a fun and meaningful event.
We are looking for items we can include in our “Prize Wheel.” All participants will get a free spin, and tickets will also be offered in exchange for a donation at our event festival. We will take as many items as you would like to provide, and recognition of your donation will reach thousands of people through email blasts, social media posts, press releases, and media coverage, before, during and after the event.
Please visit our website at www.operationcourage.org or feel free to call me with any questions.

Operation Courage is Beautiful is a 501c3 organization celebrating its 10th anniversary bringing a little joy to our active duty, deployed US servicewomen through care packages geared for women.
This 5K event will raise necessary funds, with the help of people like you, to be able to create and ship care packages consisting of high quality women’s toiletries, feminine hygiene products, reading materials and more for service members deployed across the globe.
Our recipients often write back telling us how “surprised and ecstatic” they are about our care packages, citing they are “the best [they] have received,” and thanking our supporters for thinking of them as ladies. Requests for our care packages are made by the servicemember herself, a colleague, friend or family member via our online request form.
Our goal in 2019 is to fully fund and collect enough donations to send at least 1,000 care packages with a total weight of over 9 tons to deployed overseas women in harm’s way.
The Operation Courage 5K will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Kit Carson Park in Escondido. The event will feature a 5K run and kids fun run with t-shirts, medals and Challenge Coins for all participants.
