Thank you for your support of our troops through Operation Courage is Beautiful. Since our program started, we have shipped over 5,000 women’s care packages weighing over 30,000 lbs..  Mary Kay, Arbonne, and Avon Independent Consultants have been an instrumental part of this success. Last year we shipped over 1,000 care packages!

This year our goal is to send 1000 packages again, and we need your support. We hope you can help us by starting a campaign and urging your clients, new and old, to support the troops by buying Mary Kay products and donating them for shipment through Operation Courage is Beautiful.

Calendar of Events

We will be holding events throughout the year to accomplish our 1,000 package goal. In June we will hold a packaging and donation sorting event associated with Independence Day & PTSD Awareness Day. In November, we will hold a packaging and donation sorting event associated with OCIB Month in San Diego, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving. And in December, we will hold a packaging and donation sorting event associated with the Winter Holidays. At each event we will be putting together at least 200 care packages. The exact dates are being ironed out, and there are likely to be additional packing events as the year progresses.

 

Products Needed

We and the troops love the donations you carry.  You may pick and choose what products to customize your campaign around.  All have been successful items to have purchased and donated.  Please read notes regarding our needs.

  • Makeup (eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss, etc.)
  • Hand cream
  • Skin exfoliators and masks
  • After sun care
  • Foot care
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Leave-in Hair Conditioner
  • Sunscreen (just added back to the list!)
  • Lip balm w/ sunscreen(just added back to the list!)
  • Manicure/pedicure sets

Please do NOT donate fragrances, hand sanitizer, body sprays, nail polish, or aerosols as it is flammable and cannot be shipped. Please no vitamins or medications.

Client Receipts

Operation Courage is Beautiful is able to send a receipt to your customers. All you need to do is collect the first and last name of the customer, their email address and phone number, and donation description.  For each individual customer request a receipt here: http://www.operationcourage.org/donation-receipt/

In the “Note to OCIB” please write your name and the last four digits of your telephone number.  Upon receipt and processing of the donations, we will email them a receipt directly. All donations are tax-deductible according to laws applicable to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations.
