OCIB Celebrates 2nd Anniversary!

November 2011 marks the second anniversary since the launch of Operation Courage Is Beautiful!

It was two years ago that we declared the first week of November “Operation Courage Is Beautiful Week” to create awareness of our mission to show appreciation for and bring a little joy to our military women in harm’s way by sending special care packages just for them. Since that time, we have exceeded our initial goal of sending 1000 packages to bring our tally to over 1200 packages!

Please continue to support our troops, let us know of your deployed friends and family.

Letter from a Care Package Recipient

“Hello, thank you for the care package and for your support. This is my first deployment, so far so good.  Sometimes it gets really lonely here without family and friends. Thank God we have people like you thinking about us.   I decided to share my gifts with my 2 NCO’s… They have been so helpful, making sure I am ok and keeping my morale high.   I attached pictures we were really excited….by the way you were on point with all the skin care products, Iraq is very dry and dusty oh yea and hot! Once again thank you for your appreciation.
